Zheridan Wesley or “Wes” came into this chaotic world on the 20th of October 2004. He grew up in a household wherein women were prominent figures. Having an absent father physically and financially, the only man he looked up upon was his older brother.During his early years, since both his mother and brother were either in school or work—he was always with his beloved grandmother. Most of his childhood memories contained them navigating everyday life together.When the age of curiosity finally came, Wes would always ask his Lola questions like “Lala, why don't I have a dad?” “Lala, saan po dad ko like dad's ng mga kalaro ko?” “Lala why po si mama lagi ang nagwowork?”— which were only brushed off with a gentle smile and a pat on the head. Which would just leave little wes clueless.On his 7th year of living, Wes lost his mom due to a unfathomed disease. Because of this, even the clueless little one, felt the heaviness of what life brings. He has witnessed his brothers hardwork in balancing studies and work. There were times where he would run towards the front door, excited to ask his brother to play with him. Yet when he would see his brother disheveled and tired, he would shrug off the idea and just hug the latter on his leg. Which would sometimes get a giggle or a remark from the elder.Academically wise, Wes was a naturally born achiever. Which greatly helped him in achieving the proud smiles of the two pillars of his life. He worked his ass of in studying and in any extra curricular activities because his heart soared with pride everytime he came home either with a medal, certificate, or any recognition possible.Eventually, at the age of 11, when his brother had just graduated, his Lala took her last breath. This tragic event left the two brothers alone in this cruel world. At this timeline of his life, puberty had also settled in. People started questioning him about his nationality, which he honestly had no clue about. It led into him finally asking his kuya, there he learned everything—from their parents love story, his brother's childhood, how their father left them, and that he was half Filipino and half Japanese.After that night, the two brothers bond deepened. They had promise that they would know everything about each other and that they would always have each other's back. With the little one promising that he'd help his brother in working when he grows up. Which the older seriously disagrees.Currently, Wes is currently a 3rd year student of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Culture-Based Arts at DLS-CSB and a freelancer. And take note, he had a hard time convincing his brother that freelancing was something he had wanted to do genuinely and not because he was guilty of his brother spending everything for him (but maybe he is). But moving on, he had promised his kuya that freelancing would not affect his studies which led into his kuya giving in. Now, Wes is happy and contented with what they have.And that is Zheridan Wesley's life :D
